What is AC Fundamentals ?

# Active Network

If the network consist any energy sources is called active network.

# Passive Network

If the network does not consist any energy sources is called Passive network.

# Unilateral

If the characteristics of response of a network depends on direction current flowing through component (R, L, C) known as unilateral.

[ Where R= Resistor, L= Inductor,

C= Capacitor]

# Bilateral

If the characteristics of response of a network does not depends on direction current flowing through component (R, L, C) known as bilateral.

[ Where R= Resistor, L= Inductor,

C= Capacitor]

# Linear Network

If the characteristics of response of the parameter Remans constant with respective change in time, current, voltage, etc. then circuit is called as linear network.

# Non-Linear Network

If the characteristics of response of the parameter does not constant with respective change in time, current, voltage, etc. then circuit is called as non-linear network.

# What is network?

If electrical parameter or circuit element such as resistor, capacitor, inductor and current source or voltage source are electrically  connected to each other is called as network.
